Iron production
To ensure the highest quality standards and an efficient and competitive production, 3F has equipped its factories with innovative technologies and ultra-modern systems for cutting sheet metal from the coil, moulding of components, welding, drum forming, assembly, the tightness test, the painting, the customisation and the palletiser of iron drums.
The 2 independent production lines, managed daily by specialised human resources, allow to produce about 1,100 drums / hour and guarantee production continuity in any situation. The automated palletising systems also ensure high efficiency in the storage and packaging of goods.
The iron department is powered by a state-of-the-art solar panel system that guarantees complete electrical independence and, above all, zeroes the relative CO2 emissions.
Furthermore, in terms of sustainability and environment, the following should be noted:
- The use of water-based paints with a complete recovery system zeroes the disposal of hazardous residues;
- The integrated combustion and complete elimination of volatile organic paint residues from the fumes of the paint drying ovens systems
Production of cylindrical - conical iron drums: an excellence signed by 3F
To produce 6 distinct types of cylindrical iron drums and for truncated-conical iron drums, we have equipped the factory with:
- Two production lines for cylindrical iron drums from 217 litres to 235 litres
- A production line for 220 litres conical iron drums
In this way 3F can guarantee an average production of about 1,100 drums per hour as well as highly flexible production that allows us to respond promptly to even the most urgent requests.
Plastic Production
To produce high molecular weight (HDPE) plastic tanks, 3F has equipped its production site with 12 blow moulding machines that can produce 20,000 containers per day in various sizes from 5 to 30 litres.
To optimize storage and shipping times, an automatic palletiser and bar code are used for complete and unique traceability.
The plastic department is powered by a state-of-the-art solar panel system that provides approximately 25% of the necessary electrical power, eliminating relative CO2 emissions.
